People often think that the only thing holding them back from having a great life is something they can’t control. It happens to be the way they think, the way they act, or something about them. They forget about all of the things they can control. For example, I couldn’t convince her that if I had a book with me, I wasn’t lonely.

While talking to this girl, I wanted her to know what her choice of books says about her. She was reading something that made me feel like she wants to hide herself away from people. Books are one of my biggest passions in life.

I want to share my love of reading with the world so when people see me picking up a book, it shows they have no reason to feel isolated or alone, even if it is just for an hour or two.
